5 years agoNew York Knicks shooting guard/small forward Wayne Ellington saw his largest offensive role of the season during Saturday’s victory over the Detroit Pistons, collecting a season-best 17 points on 6-for-12 shooting overall. With RJ Barrett struggling from the field, Ellington was relied upon as a reserve to the tune of 27 minutes, adding five rebounds, three assists and three made triples. While he has knocked down seven shots from deep over his last two outings, he’ll need to string together a handful more similar outings before owners can rely upon him in either DFS or season-long formats.--Jesse Borek
