5 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers power forward/center Al Horford has been cleared to play in Sunday’s contest against the Chicago Bulls after having previously been deemed questionable due to left Achilles soreness. Horford has been particularly aggressive from long range over his last four outings, getting up an average of 6.5 triples on a nightly basis. The Bulls’ frontcourt has been thinned out by injuries over the last month, although Horford is on pace to set a new career low in rebounds per contest (6.7) and his lowest mark in scoring since 2008-09 (12.3) as he has acclimated to his new role with Philadelphia. He should see his traditional minutes allotment alongside Joel Embiid in the frontcourt.--Jesse Borek
