Derrick Rose Unlikely To Return For Monday’s Contest
5 years agoDetroit Pistons point/shooting guard Derrick Rose has been deemed doubtful to play in Monday’s game versus the Charlotte Hornets due to a left hip/adductor injury. Rose is on track to miss his fifth consecutive game due to the ailment, thereby paving the way for Reggie Jackson to continue among the starting five, where he has seen a high-octane role in the offense. With Rose remaining in Detroit beyond the Trade Deadline, he will likely regain much of his former value once he proves able to take the floor. Barring a drastic turn in health by Monday, his next best chance at returning to action comes Wednesday against Orlando, the team’s final game before the All-Star break.
