5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point/shooting guard D'Angelo Russell has been deemed questionable to play Monday against the Toronto Raptors due to a right quad contusion. Russell has not yet made his debut with Minnesota since the blockbuster Trade Deadline swap that saw Andrew Wiggins head back to Golden State, but Russell will presumably take on a considerable role from the get-go. On pace to set a new career high in scoring at 23.6 points per contest this year, Russell shouldn’t see much of a drop-off in terms of shot attempts, although his assists could take a slight bump up with two-time All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns to feed the ball to.
