5 years agoDetroit Pistons point guard/small forward Bruce Brown Jr. notched the third double-double of his career during Monday’s loss to the Charlotte Hornets. In the process, he set a new career high with 12 boards, shooting 5-for-13 from the field overall en route to a 10-point outing. He also managed to lead the team with five assists across his game-high 39 minutes, continuing to see a pile of action with Derrick Rose (hip/adductor) and Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk (hip) out of the mix. He closes out the first half Wednesday versus a slow-paced Orlando squad, likely again to see a considerable workload.--Jesse Borek
