5 years agoLos Angeles Lakers power forward/center Anthony Davis recorded his third consecutive double-double during Monday’s victory over the Phoenix Suns. Davis faced little resistance from a Phoenix frontcourt that was without both Deandre Ayton (ankle) and Aron Baynes (hip), collecting 25 points, 10 rebounds and five assists across 31 minutes. Davis has now reeled off at least 25 points in five of his last seven outings and is set to close out the first half Wednesday versus Denver, whom he has logged double-doubles against in each of this season’s two prior meetings.--Jesse Borek
