Karl-Anthony Towns To Miss Wednesday’s Contest
5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game versus the Charlotte Hornets due to a left wrist injury, ending his first half. James Johnson will serve as the team’s starting center, giving him considerable DFS upside due to his low price tag. Towns’ absence marks his first since Jan. 15, having reeled off an average of 27.8 points over his last 10 games. He will have over a week to heal up, as his next chance to take the floor comes Feb. 21 against Boston. He finishes the first half on pace to set new career highs in scoring (26.5), assists (4.4) and made triples (3.3) per contest.
