5 years agoSacramento Kings small/power forward Jabari Parker will be held out of Wednesday’s contest versus the Dallas Mavericks as he works his way back from shoulder surgery. Head coach Luke Walton cited the team’s desire to get Parker further acclimated before making his debut, noting that he plans on making Parker part of the mix after the All-Star break. In 32 games with Atlanta this season, Parker averaged 15 points and six rebounds per contest. He figures to join the Kings’ second unit behind Nemanja Bjelica, as owners will want to wait and see just how much playing time he is in line for before rostering him in season-long formats.--Jesse Borek
