Chris Paul Seals Double-Double On Thursday
5 years agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Chris Paul got his first double-double of the month in Thursday's 123-118 win over the Pelicans. The veteran had 14 points, eight rebounds, 12 assists and two steals in 34 minutes of play. Once deemed a rebuilding team, the Thunder are defying expectations, and Paul is leading that charge. The 34-year-old has been sensational this season for OKC, averaging 17.5 points per game and nearly 32 minutes. Thursday was actually an "off night" for the former Rocket, considering he has scored at least 22 points in the past three games. Nevertheless, Paul's role as the top point guard on this team and the breadth of minutes he receives deems him a strong fantasy play going forward.
