Karl-Anthony Towns To Miss At Least Two Weeks
5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns (wrist) will see his absence extended into March as news came down Friday of a fractured left wrist for the team’s star center. He will be on the shelf for at least the next two weeks, paving the way for James Johnson and Naz Reid to see considerable roles at the center slot, making both appealing short-term season-long options. Malik Beasley has also benefited from additional shot attempts, while D'Angelo Russell has operated under a similarly ravaged situation with the Warriors this year. The next opportunity that owners could expect Towns back in the mix would be March 8, with the upcoming nine games all falling with a two-week window.
