DeMarcus Cousins Set To Be Waived By Lakers
5 years agoThe Los Angeles Lakers are planning to release center DeMarcus Cousins in order to make room for free-agent forward Markieff Morris, who had his contract bought out by Detroit on Friday. Cousins did not appear in a game with the Lakers after sustaining a torn ACL during pre-season workouts. Having inked a one-year deal during July, there was no long-term commitment between the two sides. While Cousins’ market was reportedly down during the past summer, he will re-enter free agency as soon as Morris’ deal is confirmed. For those that have an open IR spot in dynasty formats, Cousins remains an upside keep.
