Daniel Theis Sets New Career Highs In Points, Rebounds
5 years agoBoston Celtics center Daniel Theis had the best statistical game of his NBA career during Friday’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, feasting upon a frontcourt that was without Karl-Anthony Towns (wrist). Theis finished with new career highs with 25 points and 16 rebounds, needing just 28 minutes to pack the stat sheet. The 14 shot attempts that he took set a season high, as he vastly outperformed Enes Kanter, who went scoreless in nine minutes off the bench. Boston’s starting center gig appears to firmly be Theis’ moving forward, as he could continue to see an uptick in usage so long as Kemba Walker (knee) remains out, giving him short-term season-long value and selective DFS upside.
