Tim Hardaway Jr. Hits Six Threes, Ties Season High With 33 Points
5 years agoThe Dallas Mavericks were severely short-handed during Saturday’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks with Luka Doncic (ankle) and Kristaps Porzingis (rest) both ruled out before tip-off, with Jalen Brunson (shoulder) being forced to exit just 10 seconds into the game. That paved the way for Tim Hardaway Jr. to tie his season high with 33 points on 11-for-22 shooting overall, including a 6-for-14 effort from long range. When tasked with No. 1 scoring option duties, Hardaway has proven himself to be capable of being a volume scorer. Doncic and Porzingis’ respective ailments do not figure to keep them out for an extended period, although Hardaway will retain elite DFS upside when any combination of the duo is out of the mix.
