5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small forward Kelan Martin ended up as the team's surprising leading scorer in Sunday's loss to Denver, producing a career-high 21 points off the bench in 30 minutes. Martin shot 7-for-15 from the field and completely crushed it in the opening half with 19 points. Former Nugget Malik Beasley was the best starter with 17 points. The Wolves had just nine players available, which gave guys like Martin extended minutes.
