Aaron Gordon Sinks Clincher, Drops 27 Points In Double-Double
5 years agoOrlando Magic small/power forward Aaron Gordon made the decisive basket of Monday’s victory over the Brooklyn Nets, hitting a three with under 75 seconds remaining to keep his squad ahead for good. He parlayed an 11-for-16 overall shooting performance into a 27-point outing, his second-highest mark of the year. His stat sheet was bursting at the seams with 10 rebounds, four assists and two blocks also added across his 41 minutes. Since the start of February, Gordon’s offensive aggression has been revved up, now averaging 19.3 points per game through the first nine contests since the calendar flipped. He will be vital to Orlando’s push for a playoff spot and should see his value only continue to rise over the final six weeks.
