5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Malik Beasley compiled a team-high 28 points during Tuesday’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans, shooting an incredibly efficient 11-for-13 from the field overall. Beasley tied his season high in scoring while playing a team-best 36 minutes, adding four assists, four made threes and three rebounds. For as long as Karl-Anthony Towns (wrist) remains sidelined, Beasley is an upper-echelon scoring option on a nightly basis. He is back in action Wednesday against Chicago, having averaged 21.1 points in his 10 games since arriving in Minnesota.--Jesse Borek
