Lonzo Ball Ties Career High With Seven Made Triples
5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball was an offensive juggernaut during Tuesday’s defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves, knocking down 7-for-10 from behind the arc, tying his career high in makes. Ball finished with 26 points on 9-for-12 shooting overall, pitching in eight assists and five rebounds for his best scoring outing of the new year. His six turnovers slightly hampered his production, but after having seven made threes in his last five games combined, the offensive efficiency from the third-year guard is a positive sign moving forward. He next faces Dallas on Wednesday, whom he delivered a two-point clunker against back on Dec. 7.
