Collin Sexton Scores Career-High 41 Points
5 years agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton had perhaps the best game of his young career in a 112-106 loss to the Boston Celtics. Sexton shot 17-for-30 en route to dropping a career-high 41 points along with six assists, three rebounds, three triples, and a steal in a season-high 45 minutes. The 21-year-old is heating up, with at least 25 points on 55 percent shooting from the field or better in three of his last four contests, including back-to-back 30-point games. Sexton may not have quite as much free reign when Andre Drummond (calf) and Darius Garland (groin) return, though the second-year pro is talented enough to sustain this play. Sexton gets the Nuggets on Saturday, a team he dropped 25 on in their first meeting.
