Bradley Beal Needs 29 Shots To Score 29 Points
5 years agoWashington Wizards guard Bradley Beal continued his scoring spree on Wednesday night but was far from efficient in a 125-104 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. Beal played 38 minutes and put together 29 points on 10-for-29 shooting, six rebounds, six assists, and one steal. It was Beal's lowest scoring output since Feb. 22 after he was averaging 41.6 points per game over his previous six contests. The eighth-year guard heads into the final month of the regular season, looking to catch James Harden (34.9 points per game) for the scoring title and cap off a season where he is averaging career-highs in points, assists, and three-pointers made per game.
