Buddy Hield Drains Six Threes Off The Bench
5 years agoSacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield hit six of his 10 three-point attempts on Thursday, but it wasn't enough as his team fell 125-108 to the Philadelphia 76ers. Hield came off the bench and contributed 22 points on 8-for-16 shooting, with three steals, one rebound, and one assist in 25 minutes. It's been a strange year for the shooting guard as he is averaging the lowest field-goal percentage and three-point percentage since his rookie season. Hield has also seen his minutes plummet from 34.4 per game as a starter over the first 44 games, to 26.9 in the last 18 games as a sixth man. It seems like his minutes won't change anytime soon as the Kings are 12-6 since Hield's benching. They were 15-29 when the former-Oklahoma Sooner was a starter.
