5 years agoToronto Raptors guard Norman Powell spoiled Steph Curry's return with a career-high 37 points on Thursday night. In a 121-113 win, Powell played 38 minutes and added three rebounds, three steals, and two assists to go along with his scoring production. He went 13-for-20 from the field, 4-for-8 from three, and a perfect 7-for-7 from the charity stripe on a night to remember for the 26-year old. He is averaging 27.2 points per game since he returned from a fractured finger that cost him nine games. His production will likely take a hit when Fred Vanvleet returns, but for now, Powell is a must-start player in all formats.--Euan Leith
