5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Malik Beasley finished Sunday's 120-107 loss to New Orleans with a team-high 21 points on 8-for-20 shooting. It was a below-par shooting performance by him, even though he hit four of his seven triples. Beasley finished off his line with nine rebounds and one steal. The 23-year-old guard has been a very productive player for the Wolves since arriving from Denver, putting up at least 20 points in nine of 13 games. He'll be in a good position to have another prolific scoring night on Tuesday, in a meeting of two top-five teams in pace when the Timberwolves start a six-game road trip in Houston.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
