5 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (shoulder) will be back in action for Wednesday’s contest versus the Detroit Pistons after missing the previous five games. His return bumps down the value of Al Horford exponentially, also limiting the ceilings of Tobias Harris and Mike Scott. Without Ben Simmons (back) available, and with Detroit thin in the frontcourt since dealing away Andre Drummond, Embiid should carry a hefty workload right out of the gate. He has notched a double-double in seven of his eight previous full outings.--Jesse Borek
