4 years agoWashington Wizards forward Davis Bertans has decided to opt out of the upcoming NBA restart in July. He is a free agent after the season and does not want to risk injury after sitting out a few months due to the hiatus. The organization was reportedly offered multiple draft picks in exchange for Bertans. However, the Wizards feel strongly that they will be able to extend Bertans this offseason. Whether or not declining that deal was smart for Washington remains to be seen. Bertans has been steadily improving his game and is worth a look in the middle rounds during most fantasy drafts.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
