4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Nick Solak is starting in left field on Sunday and batting second in the lineup against the Colorado Rockies. He was the talk of the town during spring training and has found his way onto the roster to start the season. Solak was a trendy sleeper in the fantasy baseball community this year. He started on Opening Day and batted eighth against German Marquez, but will occupy the two-hole against left-handed pitcher Kyle Freeland. If he can take advantage of today's matchup, Solak could see himself move up the order permanently. The Rangers have only scored three runs in their first two games, so an offensive explosion on Sunday would be timely for the team and Solak.--Euan Leith
