Brandon Ingram Leads To In Scoring In Loss
4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram was productive on Thursday despite his team narrowly falling to the Utah Jazz, finishing with 23 points. He also added eight boards and a block. The former Laker went 8-for-20 from the field but struggled a bit from deep by sinking only two of his eight attempts. The 22-year-old is having the best season of his career, averaging 24.2 points, 6.3 boards, and 4.2 assists per outing. While this type of output was a welcome sight considering his DFS cost for the slate, the 15 minutes that Zion Williamson saw likely contributed to this performance. As the rookie begins to ramp up his workload, Ingram may possibly see a regression in statistical categories across the board.
