LeBron James Narrowly Misses Triple-Double
4 years agoLos Angeles Lakers guard/forward LeBron James helped lead his team past the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night. The King barely missed a triple-double in this one as he finished with 16 points, 11 boards, and seven assists. He also added a steal and a block each. With Rajon Rondo (thumb) out of commission, James got the start at point guard. While his performance was semi-overshadowed by Anthony Davis' 34-point outing, his output was still a welcomed showing for fantasy managers who fronted his justifyingly inflated DFS cost. With the Lakers looking to keep a firm grasp on the top seed in the Western Conference, Los Angeles will take on the Raptors on Saturday, with James providing 15 assists, 13 points, and 13 rebounds against Toronto back in November of this season.
