4 years agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis scored a team-high 39 points in Friday's overtime loss to Houston, shooting 13-for-26 from the field and 10-for-11 at the line. He made three treys with eight attempts, adding 16 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one block to his line. Porzingis's career-high stands at 40 points, so he was really close to posting his new scoring record. But that was against the small-ball Rockets. The next matchup against Phoenix's Deandre Ayton will be much tougher for him. The Suns have limited Porzingis to just 11 total points in two previous meetings this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
