Victor Oladipo Drops 15 Points In First NBA Bubble Outing
4 years agoIndiana Pacers shooting guard Victor Oladipo was originally a giant question mark to play during the NBA’s restart of the 2019-20 season, but he was ultimately on the floor Saturday for his team’s win over the Philadelphia 76ers, collecting 15 points across 32 minutes. His time on the court was a new season high, having had an additional four-plus months to recover from a knee injury that ended his previous year. In addition to the scoring, Oladipo added seven rebounds and two assists while also knocking down a pair of threes. While head coach Nate McMillan has noted a likely cap for Oladipo ahead of the playoffs, he’ll have a golden matchup Monday against the Wizards, one of the league leaders in pace of play that also so happens to be missing much of their wing defenders.
