4 years agoTampa Bay Rays right-handed pitcher Oliver Drake landed on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to biceps tendinitis in his throwing arm. With Drake down, outfielder Manuel Margot was cleared to return from the bereavement list, entering the starting lineup and playing center field in his first game back. Drake has served as the Rays’ primary save opportunist thus far in 2020, having notched two saves while producing a 3.38 ERA (with a 2.29 xERA) and 1.13 WHIP. His absence paves the way for Nick Anderson -- who is yet to allow a run in 2020 -- to be the primary ninth-inning man for a team that has shirked traditional bullpen roles.--Jesse Borek
