Bo Bichette To Undergo MRI, Unlikely To Play Sunday
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette is not in line to take the field Sunday as he is set to undergo an MRI on his right knee, which acted up Saturday. Bichette has been arguably the hottest hitter in the Majors over his last seven games, which have seen him rip off an astounding .500/.550/1.167 slash line, complete with four homers, eight RBI, and two stolen bases. Having vaulted himself into the American League MVP conversation at just 22 years old, owners who banked on Bichette in season-long formats are being heavily rewarded. But the news of undergoing an MRI is reason for pause, as Toronto could opt to be cautious with one of the faces of its franchise. Check back later for an official update, but at the minimum, don’t expect Bichette to be available Sunday.
