Gleyber Torres Still Three To Six Weeks Away
4 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres (hamstring, quad) is still three to six weeks away from rejoining the team, according to manager Aaron Boone. Torres had originally been expected to miss two to three weeks as he recovers from hamstring and quad strains, but that timeline has been extended significantly. Tyler Wade has primarily been starting at shortstop in Torres’s absence and is likely to continue doing so until Torres is healthy enough to rejoin the team.
