4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman/outfielder Cody Bellinger is not among the starting nine for Tuesday’s contest against Arizona and left-hander Alex Young. Chris Taylor will man center field in Bellinger’s absence, which comes after a day off, giving the left-handed slugger a two-day breather. After a slow start to 2020, Bellinger has homered in back-to-back games, marking the third time in August that he homered in consecutive contests. Despite a .995 OPS over his last six games, he has largely struggled against southpaws this season (.639 OPS), with his next chance to return to the lineup coming Wednesday versus D-backs righty Zac Gallen.--Jesse Borek
