4 years agoDetroit Tigers shortstop Niko Goodrum is out of the lineup for Wednesday’s contest against Milwaukee but is available if needed off of the bench. Willi Castro will shift over to short with Isaac Paredes manning the hot corner against Brewers right-hander Adrian Houser. Goodrum’s absence will mark just his third this season, having slashed .186/.264/.381 and just recently having been dropped from the leadoff spot in the order. Despite Detroit’s confidence in Goodrum as an everyday bat, his staggering 38.8 K% ranks him among the biggest strikeout compilers in the Majors; he can safely be avoided in most season-long formats with moderate DFS upside appeal.--Jesse Borek
