WNBA - DFS Guards
Courtney Vandersloot (G, Chicago Sky) – vs Atlanta Dream (DK: $10,200, FD: $7,300)
Vandersloot's streak of games with nine or more assists has now reached nine games in a row as she looks to break the assists per game record previously held by Courtney Vandersloot. (Yes, she has the top four seasons in league history in assists per game.) She should keep that streak rolling against an Atlanta team that has the league's second-worst defensive rating and that's allowing opponents to record more assists than any other team is. This should be a good game from the MVP candidate.
Chennedy Carter (G, Atlanta Dream) – vs Chicago Sky (DK: $7,900, FD: $5,400)
Carter's post-injury DFS price hasn't caught up to her production. She's had 19 or more points in three of the past four games, with at least 15 shot attempts in each of them. She shot over 50 percent from the field against a good Aces team last week and has a pair of six-assist games in her last three appearances. Carter is rounding back into the form that made her a Rookie of the Year frontrunner before her ankle injury.
Kaila Charles (G, Connecticut Sun) – vs Phoenix Mercury (DK: $5,100, FD: $4,600)
Today's value play is Sun rookie Kaila Charles. Charles has played 25-plus minutes in four of the last five games. Against this Phoenix team on Monday, Charles played 25 minutes and scored six points on 2-for-7 shooting with five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. If she can connect on a slightly higher percentage of her shots, she'll be a solid value option to help you with your DFS lineup build.
WNBA - DFS Forwards
Cheyenne Parker (F, Chicago Sky) – vs Atlanta Dream (DK: $9,700 FD: $6,700)
Cheyenne Parker has been really good lately. In the past three games, she's averaging 20.3 points per game as well as 10 boards, 1.7 steals, and 1.7 blocks. With no Azura Stevens, Parker's stepped into a larger role, and she's responding to that role well. She can score inside and outside and is heading into a plus-matchup against a struggling Atlanta Dream defense that allows the second-most threes per game and third-most points in the paint.
Natasha Howard (F, Seattle Storm) – vs Dallas Wings (DK: $8,900, FD: $7,000)
Honestly, not a ton to say about Howard that I didn't say the last time I recommended playing her. She's been incredible lately, playing at the level we expected her to play at. She's coming off a strong game against the Lynx, with 19 points -- her most of the season -- and four rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Her strong defensive play gives her stock (steals + blocks) upside every night, and she faces a turnover-prone Dallas Wings team in this one. Howard keeps trending upwards.
Brionna Jones (F, Connecticut Sun) – vs Phoenix Mercury (DK: $7,700, FD: $6,400)
Back to the Sun/Mercury game, a rematch of Monday's meeting between these teams. In that game, Jones scored 10 points on 62.5 percent shooting and added four rebounds, an assist, three steals, and three blocks. Her steal numbers have been up lately and she has block upside, though the Mercury haven't been getting blocked much lately. Phoenix is allowing the second-most rebounds in the WNBA over the past five games though. Jones might not have unlimited upside because of her lower minutes than other options on this slate, but she's a solid play who can be a big contributor.
