BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 25% of leagues
ANALYSIS: The White Sox have a supply of exciting young pitchers and Dane Dunning has certainly shined brightly in his debut season with a 1-0 record in four starts, 2.70 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 21 Ks in 20.0 IP. The White Sox currently lead the AL Central and will need to continue their recent god run (winning six of their last seven) if they are to finish in first place. Dunning is in line for three more starts before the season ends and the White Sox won't be able to risk skipping one, nor do they have reason to, considering the small workload Dunning has had so far this year.
Dunning made his debut on August 19th and despite only getting through five innings once in his first three starts, Dunnings last start saw him get through six shutout innings to pick up his first Major League win. Now stretched out more, providing he's effective, Dunning is in line to get through five or more innings in his final three starts to at least being in the reckoning for wins. Dunning's 2.70 ERA is a bit flukey as he's got a 3.96 SIERA, 2.79 FIP and 3.51 xFIP but with so few starts left, there's no reason to believe his ERA will balloon before the end of the year. Dunning can help in all four pitching categories starting pitchers can assist in and should be rostered in all 12+ team leagues.
