Gleyber Torres Has Injured Quadriceps
4 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres (quad) is out of the starting lineup for the third time in as many games with a minor injury, according to manager Aaron Boone. Torres had only recently returned from a quad strain that (in combination with a hamstring strain) landed him on the injured list, but Boone said that Torres is still available to pinch-hit if necessary and that his current quad issue is a minor one. Still, fantasy managers should monitor Torres’s playing time over the next few days, and it’ll be concerning if he doesn’t rejoin the starting lineup soon.
