Killian Hayes Goes To Pistons At Seventh Overall
4 years agoThe Detroit Pistons have drafted point guard Killian Hayes with the seventh pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Hayes spent his formative basketball years playing in France, and last year in 33 games for Ratiopharm Ulm, he averaged 11.6 points and 5.4 assists per game. He's a great playmaker when the ball is in his hands and should immediately bring a steadying presence to this Pistons team. Like many players in this year's class, there are shooting concerns with Hayes, but he's got great size and can be one of the NBA's best defensive point guards at some point down the line. With rumors that the Pistons might trade Derrick Rose, Hayes has a good chance of starting as a rookie and should be one of the top rookies for fantasy purposes.
