4 years agoForward Christian Wood will be heading to Houston after signing a three-year, $41 million deal with the club. The journeyman was a welcome addition to a Detroit team that was without Blake Griffin (knee) for most of last year, averaging 13.1 points and 6.3 boards throughout 62 games. The 25-year-old should be a shoo-in for double-digit rebounds on most nights, but his opportunities on the scoring end may increase if Houston opts to deal James Harden and Russell Westbrook before the start of the regular season.
