Despite Week 14 featuring a bunch of blowouts, quarterback production wasn’t anything special. Only three quarterbacks passed for over 300 yards passing. A bunch of quarterbacks were able to find the end zone through the air, however, with two players (one of which being Drew Lock) throwing for four touchdowns, two players passing for three touchdowns (including Mitchell Trubisky), and 10 quarterbacks getting two passing scores.
The headliner of the day was the play of Jalen Hurts at quarterback for the Eagles. Hurts was able to guide the Eagles to a close, impressive win against the Saints on Sunday afternoon with a solid performance passing and an excellent performance rushing the football. There are some situations to monitor heading into Week 15, mainly the health of Alex Smith and Matthew Stafford. Stafford missed the final plays of the game against Green Bay after taking a shot rushing the ball and Smith gave up work to Dwayne Haskins after a leg injury forced him to the bench in the first half in an impressive win against the 49ers.
In this article, I will be focusing on players who are under 65% rostered in fantasy leagues while adding a couple of deep sleepers for two-quarterback leagues (less than 20% rostered).

Top QB Streamers and Adds
Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions
Yahoo: 58% rostered ESPN: 55.4% rostered
Matt Stafford’s status for Week 15 will bear monitoring after he left his game on Sunday against the Packers in the fourth quarter. If Stafford can go, then he presents an interesting upside in a great matchup. Stafford is always good in fantasy because the Lions have a terrible defense and Detroit isn’t afraid to throw the ball around. Stafford has thrown the ball at least 33 times in nine games this year. He has four games with three passing touchdowns and has shown high-end QB1 upside every week.
If he is good to go this coming week, he will get a shot at a Titans secondary that has struggled this season (unless they are playing against Jacksonville). Stafford will play Tampa Bay in Week 16, so he can only be trusted to get your team to the championship but has a rough matchup in the final game.
Philip Rivers, Indianapolis Colts
Yahoo: 41% rostered ESPN: 16.9% rostered
Philip Rivers keeps on producing for the Colts as they push for a playoff spot. From a fantasy standpoint, he can also make a major play for your fantasy team. Rivers has thrown for multiple touchdowns in his last five games and has only failed to throw for 280 yards twice since Week 7. In his last eight games, Rivers has at least 16 fantasy points in seven contests.
Rivers has a game against the hapless Houston secondary that is sorely missing Bradley Roby. Rivers does not have multi-week appeal in leagues that have a Week 16 championship as a matchup against the Steelers will be on the horizon.
Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns
Yahoo: 40% rostered ESPN: 23.2% rostered
Baker Mayfield won’t take the field until tonight against the Ravens which is a terrible matchup, but he has been playing some of his best football down the stretch of 2020. In his last two games, Mayfield is completing 70% of his passes for 592 yards and six touchdowns with no interceptions. Mayfield has struggled to get the ball into the end zone this season, but he has also played safe football as evidenced by his five straight games without an interception. The Baltimore matchup could very well put an end to that streak, but Mayfield is poised to have some big games in his final competitions of 2020.
Mayfield will get a shot at a Giants Defense that has been solid this year, but just allowed 244 passing yards and a touchdown to Kyler Murray and the Cardinals. In Week 16, most people’s fantasy championships, Mayfield will get a shot at the Jets’ overwhelmingly terrible defense. Mayfield is worth a stash in case of emergency as the fantasy season comes to a close.
2QB League Options and Stashes
Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
Yahoo: 17% rostered ESPN: 8.2% rostered
Jalen Hurts was the spark the Eagles have been missing offensively. Hurts didn’t play exceptionally well against the Saints, completing just 17 of 30 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown. His upside on the ground was massive as he rushed for 106 yards on 18 carries against one of the best run defenses in the NFL. The offensive line is still painfully bad for the Eagles, but Hurts has a pretty strong cache of weapons at his disposal. Miles Sanders, Jalen Reagor, Dallas Goedert, and Zach Ertz are excellent in the passing game.
Hurts is a must-start option at quarterback in 2QB leagues thanks to his ability to throw and run the ball and has some excellent matchups coming up in the fantasy playoffs. Hurts will travel to Arizona next week before closing out the fantasy playoffs against the overmatched Dallas secondary. If your league uses Week 17 as a championship week, he will have a difficult (but no more difficult than the Saints) matchup against the Washington Football Team.
Mitchell Trubisky, Chicago Bears
Yahoo: 10% rostered ESPN: 19.3% rostered
If you find yourself desperate for quarterback production in the playoffs in 2QB leagues, then you have to consider Mitch Trubisky no matter how it makes you feel. After an up-and-down performance in his first start since Week 3 against the Packers (56% completion, 252 yards, three touchdowns, two interceptions), Trubisky has been startable his last two weeks. In his last two games against the Lions and Texans, Trubisky is completing 74.6% of his passes for 534 yards and four touchdowns with zero interceptions.
The Bears have a favorable lineup of opponents heading throughout the fantasy playoffs, playing at Minnesota and their bad secondary before heading to Jacksonville and their overmatched defense in Week 16. Trubisky has gone over 18 fantasy points in two of his last three starts, numbers that can be replicated against two bad defenses the next two games.
