4 years agoCleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love (Achilles, calf) has been ruled out for Wednesday's season opener against Charlotte. Love has been banged up during the preseason, with Larry Nance Jr. and Cedi Osman as the likely favorites to enter the starting five in his place. With Love not around to help clean up the glass, Andre Drummond should see an increase in DFS appeal, particularly against a Hornets interior that struggled to slow down opposing centers last season. Love has been a finicky fantasy option for the past handful of years due to injury woes, and it appears that he'll begin the year from behind the eight ball once again. His next chance to return to action comes Saturday versus the Pistons, which begins a stretch of three games in four days.--Jesse Borek
