4 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Dennis Schroder (ankle) has been given the thumbs up to play in Tuesday's game versus the Clippers and will draw the start at point guard. Schroder is expected to share ball-handling duties with LeBron James in the first unit, although the new member of the Lakers has been vocal about his desire to be the team's point guard. Having seen his assists totals dip while carrying a bench role over the past two years, Schroder's infusion of playing alongside James and Anthony Davis should give him the upside to return to his six-assist per game averages from 2016-18.--Jesse Borek
