4 years agoBrooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant finished with 22 points, five boards, and three assists during the massive win over the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night. He was also sound on the defensive end, adding three steals and a block. The former MVP appeared to show no signs of the injured Achilles suffered during the 2019 NBA Finals. Although his shooting percentage from the floor needs to improve moving ahead, and it reasonably could, he made amends by sinking all seven of his free throws. The Nets will next hit the road for a Christmas Day showdown with the Celtics, with Durant averaging 25.6 points against Boston throughout his career.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
