4 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic went for 27 points, seven assists, and four rebounds during Friday's loss to the Lakers. By most standards, Doncic's performance was more than solid, but his astronomical fantasy expectations have left fantasy managers -- particularly DFS ones -- wanting more out of the gate. Doncic shot 9-for-19 from the field and turned the ball over just three times, yet his offensive usage has not quite matched the level of production that many envisioned when it was known that Kristaps Porzingis (knee) would miss the early portion of the year. There's little reason to hit the panic button as Doncic remains firmly entrenched as a premier option heading into Sunday's outing versus the Clippers whom he averaged 29 PPG against in three meetings last regular season.--Jesse Borek
