4 years agoAtlanta Hawks center Clint Capela (Achilles) has not suited up for either of the team's first two contests of the 2020-21 year, leading head coach Lloyd Pierce to say that there was no timetable for when Capela could get back into the mix. If there is optimism around the issue, it's that it's the opposite leg that bothered Capela upon his arrival to the franchise last year. Atlanta has opted to utilize John Collins as a small-ball starting center without Capela in the mix, although Bruno Fernando and Onyeka Okongwu will undoubtedly have to reprise larger roles if Capela is sidelined for a considerable period of time. A perpetual double-double threat when healthy, Capela can be stashed on the IR in season-long formats, although when he makes it back is unclear at this stage.--Jesse Borek
