4 years agoNew York Knicks guard Alec Burks poured in 22 points, five rebounds, four triples, three assists, two steals, and a block in 31 minutes of a loss to Philadelphia. Burks has now scored 22 points in each game for the Knicks to start the season, both against playoff teams in the East from last season. While he won't average 20-plus points a night this season, it's clear that there will be plenty of scoring opportunities for Burks off the bench on this Knicks team. The veteran guard could come close to the 16.1 points per game he averaged last year in 48 games with Golden State.--Tim Capurso
