4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum had everything working offensively during Saturday's victory over the Rockets, as he dropped 44 points on 17-for-30 shooting, knocking down nine triples in the process. The enormous scoring output is McCollum's highest total since Jan. 31, 2018, as he also added eight assists and three rebounds to his stat line. While Damian Lillard also saw a massive workload, it didn't slow McCollum in the slightest, which bodes well for his future prospects as a high-volume scorer. No matter the opponent, McCollum is a factor on a nightly basis and has the all-around ability to put himself in the All-Star conversation in 2020-21. His next time on the floor comes Monday versus the Lakers, with his DFS price tag sure to be on the rise.--Jesse Borek
