Zach Lavine Dominates Offensively During Defeat
4 years agoChicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine fired up 23 shots during Sunday's loss to the Warriors, leading to a season-high 33-point showing. Reassuring for LaVine's season-long fantasy managers is that his minutes allotment was bumped up to 35 minutes, which allowed him to add seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks. Conversely, that offensive focus also led to seven turnovers, which put something of a damper on LaVine's overall shine. The duo of LaVine and Coby White took 42 of the Bulls' 86 shots Sunday, a sign moving forward that Chicago will go as far as LaVine's scoring prowess will take them. His next matchup comes Tuesday versus Washington, a defense that has yielded an average of 121 points per game to open the season.
