4 years agoSacramento Kings shooting guard Daquan Jeffries (ankle) sustained a Grade 3 sprain of his left ankle, which is expected to keep him sidelined for a considerable period of time. Jeffries appeared in 13 games off the bench last season for the Kings and figured to be a piece that the team could utilize to begin 2020-21. Undrafted out of Tulsa in 2019, Jeffries has been ferried between the team's G League affiliate and Sacramento; his absence will allow Cory Joseph and Tyrese Haliburton to continue seeing the vast majority of reserve minutes in the backcourt. Jeffries is not a fantasy asset at this stage.--Jesse Borek
