C.J. McCollum Makes History With His Three-Point Shooting Friday
4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum became the second player in NBA history to make 25 or more threes in the first five games of the season after knocking down four against the Golden State Warriors Friday. McCollum finished with 28 points on 11-for-21 shooting to go along with four assists, three steals and a rebound in 34 minutes. McCollum has had an incredible start to the season, averaging 28.0 points, 5.6 assists, 5.2 threes and 1.6 steals per game. It is possible McCollum is at his peak right now and will regress slightly as the season goes on, but for now managers can enjoy the hot streak. McCollum has a rematch with the Warriors Sunday as well as some juicy match ups next week.
